let the be light(s)!

For our home-in-renovation, there are a lot of things that we are hemming and hawing about.  Fortunately, there are a few things that we are just set in stone for us.  One of which is the Globe Pendant light at West Elm.  It’s one of those things we both knew we wanted in our house.  Yesterday, Hayley took the leap of faith and went and bought a set of three of these.  Coincidentally, they were having a sale, and my student card got us 10% off.  Every penny counts .  Now, we just have to decide where they should go.  So far, the candidates are: foyer, kitchen island, and main bathroom.

Then, you can buy one for $40.00, or better yet, make your own with easy to follow instructions at Lifehacker or Indestructible. I am looking forward to making a bunch of these for our backyard.
