it’s official – we moved in

There has been very little updates in terms of home renovation lately, but a lot has happened. We finally moved into our home on Sunday and spent over first night there. It was quite a joyous event after what seems like forever. We told ourselves that we would move in as soon as the bathroom and bedroom was done. We had some complications with getting hot water but hopefully, that has been resolved for the long term. Sunday was also the day that the last piece of drywall went up, so now our house is looking more like a house and less like a counstruction site. We still don’t have a working kitchen, but fingers crossed, we will have a fridge and microwave so we can nuke up some basic meals. There’s still quite a bit of clean up to be done, and more mess to make. The adventure continues.
